Consider Larry Coryell. The late 60s and early 70s saw Larry as one of the most in-demand guitarists, not only in jazz, but also in all musical genres. He came to national prominence with the Gary Burton Quartet, did some rock experimentation with Steve Marcus, made sessions with Jimmy Webb, the Fifth Dimension, Charles Mingus, Cedar Walton & John Hicks (on HighNote), Chick Corea, John McLaughlin and Stanley Cowell and in 1974 he formed The 11th House, one of the most popular and successful fusion bands of its time. For whatever changes he has gone through in his career, Larry Coryell is today a jazz player of the very highest caliber. Here his colleagues Larry Gray and Paul Wertico accompany him in a swinging live session that shows Larry once again to be the guitar's musical prophet, whose message carries as much emotional power today as ever.

W/ With Larry Gray - bass; Paul Wertico - drums

Tracks: Autumn Leaves; Black Orpheus; Love is Here to Stay; Star Eyes; Something; Bumpin' on Sunset; Good Citizen Swall; Bag's Groove.
